Safety Instructions

  1. Always apply the wheel brakes when a person is to sit in or stand from the chair.
  2. Depress each brake with your foot as shown in photo 1. The brake will lock in set mode when properly depressed.
  3. Do not leave a person unattended in the chair without applying the brakes.
  4. During setup, always insure that the armrests are fully seated against the lower wheel hub, as shown in photo 2. Failure to do so could cause the wheel assemblies to fail, with possible injury to occupant. Apply a little downward pressure to the armrest to be sure tube is seated into the lower wheel hub.
  5. Use chair only on American Disability Act approved surfaces and ramps. This chair is not designed to be tilted, lifted or carried while occupied.
  6. Do not exceed the chair's 250 pound weight limit. Exceeding this weight limit could cause serious harm to the occupant and damage to the chair.
  7. Do not step on the footrest while entering or leaving the chair. Either remove the footrest as shown in photo 3, or fold it up and out of the way, as shown in photo 4.
